Follow these steps to set up your Boardwalk account and start generating revenue
Get your Boardwalk account up and running in three quick steps.
To get started, request an invite to Boardwalk by visiting next.boardwalk.marketing/request-invite
Please note: This step is only meant for new company accounts. In the event you would like to add new users to your account, you may do so within the portal.
Wait for the Activation email before attempting to login.
If you don't get the email, reach out to your Boardwalk rep.
Activated users can login to the Boardwalk Portal by visiting: next.boardwalk.marketing/sign-in
Admins can add new users directly through the portal.
Simply navigate to "Team Members" from the left navigation.
Source and import your offers into Boardwalk.
Boardwalk does not provide the offers — you'll need to source offers from advertisers or networks prior to building your project.
We recommend having a minimum of 6 to 10 offers per wall/listicle.
If you need specific examples or recommendations for types of offers that work best in your vertical, feel free to reach out — we can share insights and help.
Click on the Offers menu from the left navigation and follow the steps to add, import, or update your offers with ease.
You can add offers manually, bulk import them with a CSV template, or even import them using our Everflow connection.
Create your offer wall or listicle and make it look great.
Begin by clicking the Walls menu from the left navigation.
Once you're in the walls section, click the Create Wall button, name your wall, provide a description, and save.
Once your wall is saved, your empty wall will appear. This is where you'll start building your offer wall or listicle. To start building, click the plus button to add a new content block.
Boardwalk offers several types of blocks you can use to design your wall:
To display offers on your wall, add an Offer Container block. The offer container allows you to choose which offers will appear on the wall. Simply select the offers you want from your offer library.
You can select multiple offers and add them to the same container.
If you enable Optimize Offer Order, Boardwalk will automatically arrange the offers based on performance, helping surface the best-performing options to users.
Once your wall is configured, make sure to save your changes.
Boardwalk offers pre-built styling to choose from. Simply navigate to your wall and click the Design menu.
This section allows you to apply style templates, update your layout, and even tweak your project using our AI Style assistant.
Connect your domain, set up tracking, and plan your test for maximum results.
Choose a domain you own — you'll need to add it to your wall or listicle.
Have an HTML page with a header and footer, and choose a spot where you want to insert Boardwalk.
In the Boardwalk Admin, navigate to Walls, choose a wall or listicle, and open it. You may copy the embed code to add to your website by clicking the embed icon, located at the top left of your wall, next to the History button.
Once copied, you can paste it into your HTML page to take Boardwalk live!

Optimization focuses on engagement by default, unless we get the revenue data through postback.
Click on "Data and Reports" from the left navigation and then select the Postbacks menu at the top. From here, you'll be able to copy your account's unique postback URL.
Format example:
https://postback.next.boardwalk.marketing/rtcd651!?click_id={clickid}&revenue={payout_amount}
Although optional to get started, postbacks are helpful for revenue optimization. Read more
When traffic first begins, the system is actively learning and segmenting your audience. Instead of testing one version of the page at a time, it rotates offers across user segments to identify which ones perform best (based on context, location, user behaviors, and detected intent).
Because of this, early results are part of a nearly random sample and don't represent the final optimized metrics.
Testing 5 offers in different sequences requires the right amount of traffic. To confidently identify a set of "best" offer layouts for the major detected segments of your audience:
Given typical performance, we'd expect the optimized part of the test population to have about 20-30 percent lift over the randomized testing segment. The number of visitors required varies based on how many offers are displayed and being optimized.
